It has been one. week. since we started telling Kyra every night, as we tuck her into bed, that she is not allowed to climb in the bed with Mommy or on the couch with Daddy in the middle of the night. We explain to her that she's allowed to get out of bed after Mr. Sunshine wakes up- not before.
Every morning now she is at my bedside between 7 and 7:30 informing me that Mr. Sunshine is awake, as is she.
I'll take that any day over having her wake me up an extra 18 times a night. Lydia seems to be doing a bang up job at that already and she's not even born yet.
Any advice on how to tell The Fetus she needs to stop jumping on Mommy's bladder 3 times a night? Because, frankly, it's just not nice.

ReplyDeleteLOL nothing for you there, mine didn't listen to a word I said, and I pleaded, begged, snarled, demanded, commanded etc, ad nauseum.
Also, it got worse in the last trimester for me. Just sayin'... :D
