One of my best friends and her two darling girls are coming in tonight for a few days stay. I found this out.... at 9 o'clock this morning. The first thing I did to prepare for their stay? I cleaned out and wiped down the shelves in the fridge.
I'm not sure why this task was the first thing that popped into my mind. There are a hundred other things I could have been doing; putting the heated blanket on the spare bed, running the vacuum, a quick once over in the guest bathroom. But, no. Instead I clean out my fridge.
At least it sparkles, now.
Too bad my next priority was to blog about it. Maybe sometime before they climb into bed tonight I'll get that heated blanket in place. Maybe.
