Dance Fever

Another home school mom told me about an adult tap class she's taking this year that happens to be at a time quite convenient to Jeremy's schedule.  Which is to say, most weeks, he should be home on time this one day a week to watch his children while I get my groove on.

I'm tempted.  I'M SOOOOO VERY TEMPTED.  Though, I've never taken a dance class in my life.  And I'm not positive, but I don't think PayLess has tap shoes in my size.  Or, at least, I haven't seen anything other then Itty-Bitty sizes sold there.

Have no fear!  This mom says, The dance place will sell them to you for the price of- Lydia conveniently insists on babbling in my ear at this exact moment- and thats not too expensive.  I may have to ask around and see if one of the older girls may have shoes in your size they don't use anymore.

I mean, seriously.  Come! On!  It would be a first time tap dance class for me.  Me.  Who is almost (THOUGH, NOT QUITE, I STILL HAVE MORE THEN A YEAR) about to approach her third decade of life.

I'm not sure how or why I'm even entertaining this thought.  But I am.  It sounds fun and, lets face it, I could use both a bit of exercise and some Mommy Time to boot.

What do you think?  To tap or not to tap?  Lame-o, sit your fat motherly ass down or what the hell are ya waitin' for?

  2. Aw, what could it hurt? If you don't like it, you can stop going.

It is weird that I'm envisioning you in a fluffy tutu? I'll stop...
