In My Shoes

If you were in my shoes would you take your two small children by your self to your in-laws house in A) a plane, which will cost you in the larger $400 region and take up 4-5 hours of your day, or B) a car, which will cost you in the middle $100 region if your own brother would let you shack up with him for a night because otherwise it would take just over 24 hours to drive strait through.

If you were in my shoes, would you choose to save your sanity or save your money?

I only ask because both options are dear to my heart.

  1. I'd fly- but have to give you credit for going to the inlaws alone!

  2. hmm, not sure flying with two kiddos will save your sanity ... i'd drive it (but this is coming from the crazy who's driven 1800 miles "back home" twice in the last 12 months and is about to do it again, but this time with THREE (!!) small children, lol).

  3. oh, plus, you'll have more freedom to come and go where/when you want if you have your own vehicle!

  4. I vote driving and stopping at Chris's place. :) I'm sure he'd love to see you and the kiddies as well! Driving won't be soooo bad, especially compared to all the hustle-bustle that you'll need to get done at the airport to get everywhere on time and with both children all in one peice. Oh...and diaper bag and the like....entertainment....

    yeah...car!
