For my birthday, I got lots of well wishes and I thank you all! I was spoiled with new boots from the hubby, a charm bracelet and a check for some new clothes from the mommy, another check for what ever I please from Granma, a bouquet of fruit from Joelle and her family, and a Best Buy Gift certificate from my sister. To top it all off, Jer made my chocolate cake from scratch. Frosting and all! That's right ladies, he can cook! And he's all mine! See, I told you I was spoiled for my Birthday! The only down side was that I had class that night. All in all, it was a fabulous day for me.On to Christmas. Santa surprised Jeremy and Kyra each with a sled, what Santa forgot to leave was some snow to use the sleds. Jeremy was dressed with style, Kyra and I got him lots of new clothes. I got a nifty new digital camera! Now, for those pictures that would be cute just to be "see what you're daughter did" but I was too picky to waste a roll of film with, I can now capture them just long enough to show, post, then delete with now harm done.
Kyra made bank this Christmas. She's in love with the new pillow and case Jer and I got her. She bear hugged it into the ground when she got it opened, and until we put it away in her crib, she would carry it around so she could plop down on it and lay anywhere she wanted. Her favorite present is the Cinderella Lego set Rachel, Joelle and Sean got her. She hauls this thing everywhere! I think the coolest present Kyra got was a Veggie Tales CD from Rachel's Grandma. It sings songs and has her name in with the songs, and its all kinds of personalized. I didn't know these things existed, but how cool are they!
All in all, we had a wonderful Holiday Season. It came it with a roar and left a disaster in it's wake. All the preparation, all the mess, all the fuss; it was all worth the work when we got to spend the day with friends and family. May the New Year bring and equally happy time.
Well, I have many, many more photos to show you over on the side bar. Click the new Flickr Photos for Christmas 2006. Hope everyone else had a very Merry Holiday!
